Fauna Guide - Frogs, Reptiles, Mammals & How To Restore Their Habitat (Volume One)
The Sturt Upper Reaches Landcare Group Inc. (SURLG) has developed this guide to the native, ground-dwelling fauna that can be found in the upper reaches of the Sturt River catchment. The Sturt River sits within the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board region in South Australia.
Our guide is different from other field guides because it brings together the frog, reptile and mammal species you are likely to encounter in the Sturt Catchment, and combines how to identify these species with how to restore habitat for them.
The guide is divided into two sections:
1. A showcase of 29 local wildlife species and what you can do to restore habitat for each of them. It is not a complete list. We have included,
2. A guide to what you can do to help protect local wildlife in addition to habitat restoration,
Fungi Guide - Fungi & How to Restore Their Habitat (Volume Two)
The native fungi in this guide can be found in the upper reaches of the Sturt River catchment in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
This field guide outlines 15 groups (‘morpho groups’ like mushrooms and puffballs) based on their distinct shape and texture, and then describes one native species for each. Each description includes,
Flora Guide - Understory Plants for Bandicoot Habitat (Volume 3)

Some of these plants form an important part of their preferred habitat. We know properties in this area are sold on average every 7 to 10 years, so people new to the area can use this guide to build on work done by previous owners.
The guide features a easy to digest summary of over 50 local species including,
